This quality Double Spur Jennings Pattern Auger Bit is the best we carry. Made from high carbon steel in Sheffield, England. The traditional tapered shank is designed specifically for a traditional Hand Brace. The double spurs scribe the hole prior to entry and ensures a splinter free hole. The wide spiral provides for excellent chip clearance. The medium fast lead screw draws the bit uniformly into the hole. Hole size 1". Overall length slightly longer than 9". Quality made in England.
