You will find these heavy-duty Tenon, Plug and Dowel Cutters to be greatly superior to any other cutters you may have used in the past. The size accuracy of these cutters is excellent. You can certainly find cheaper cutters (made in China) but we doubt you will be able to find ones that cut as smoothly, cleanly and without burning as these. You will be able to make tenons or plugs with a length of up to 3" with these professional quality tools.
The cutters feature an improved design with 4 to 5 cutting spurs, depending on size, and a center diameter that has been bored with very high precision. The tool cuts aggressively yet very smoothly and cleanly. The center diameter expands beyond the cutting rim to make for a cooler cut and for easy plug removal. Overall length 5 1/2" with a 1/2" shank.
