The Pax 1776 Dovetail saw with a 20 tpi Rip cut (for cutting with the grain) teeth formation. These saws are Thomas Flinn’s finest saws and a must have for all woodworking enthusiasts
and is their flagship saw. Made with a heavily folded brass back engraved with “Pax 1776
Sheffield England” and are made today to the same high standards they were two hundred years
ago. The folded brass back means the blade is held under tension offering excellent rigidity and
balance. The weight of the brass back aids the fine cutting ability of these saws. The traditional
open handle is made from English Elm and is hand finished with Danish Oil to offer the perfect
comfort and grip. These saws are the ultimate in beauty and also in their unrivalled performance.
These saws are all tested before leaving the workshop. The saw has a blade length of 10” and
