12 TPI, Cross Cut, LYNX 26" Saw, Beech, Taper Ground |
If you're looking for a quality saw you should consider the LYNX line of handmade saws. This LYNX 26" Crosscut Hand Saw (12 tpi) is hand-crafted of the finest alloy steel, taper ground with a straight tooth line and precisely set and sharpened to ensure the best possible cut without the fear of binding. A taper ground saw has a blade that is thickest close to the teeth and becomes thinner as you move away from the teeth. This blade thickness taper further reduces the chance of binding during the cut and represents the pinnacle of the saw maker's profession. This saw has a stained Beech handle.
