2" Log Builder's Socket Gouge - Made in Germany |

This gouge is great for general log work. The socket design makes for a very strong tool suitable for heavy cuts. Forged in Germany from quality alloy steel and hardened and tempered to Rc61. High grain compression during the forging combined with quality heat treatment make for a long lasting edge. The blade of this particular chisel is 2" wide and 9" long (including the socket). Overall length is 18". Ash handle. Made in Germany.
