29" Steel Precision Straightedge - Made in Germany |

This 750mm (29.50") long, 40mm (1.57") wide and 8mm (0.31" thick) Precision Steel Straightedge is ideal for most tasks in the workshop that involves larger surfaces such as machine set-ups. A substantial and durable tool that is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances. Ground flat on both edges, the guaranteed straightness tolerance over the entire length is 0.0010" (i.e., one thousandth of an inch). Each straightedge is individually tested to ensure a tolerance at or below the guaranteed level. As proof, the actual tested tolerance value is engraved on the side of each individual straightedge. Importantly, the edges are wide enough (0.31") so that the tool can easily stand on its edge by itself. Being made from tool steel this straightedge will rust unless it is being properly taken care. It is delivered in a special corrosion inhibiting cardboard sleeve that you may want to keep for future storage. Precision crafted in Germany.
