3 Micron DMT Diamond Paste Compound |

Dia-Paste Diamond Compound from DMT is ideal for getting a highly polished finish on your fine tools like chisels and plane irons. The best effect is achieved when the tool has already been sharpened through to a 1200 grit (9 micron) finish using a whetstone. This compound gives you all the benefits of diamond while attaining an even finer finish then can be achieved with a diamond whetstone alone. Apply 2-3 drops of the compound to a flat substrate of your choice such as MDF, cast iron, glass or closed grained hardwoods. For best result, work through the compound sizes from 6 Micron, to 3 micron and to 1 Micron. Use a separate substrate for each grit. Packaged in an easy to use 2 gram syringe. The 3 micron (approximately 5000 grit) compound is green/yellow in color. Crafted in the USA.
