These Straight Edges are perfect for checking flatness, for use as a cutting guide, or if you get two, for use as winding sticks. Finely ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. They are 1-1/2 wide with all edges ground to true right angles. One edge is beveled with a 1/64 scale. They are made from 3/16 thick hardened steel allowing them to easily stand on their edge. The 12 and 24 straight edges are accurate to 0.001. The 36 straight edge is accurate to 0.0015. Satin chrome finish for easy readability. Each straight edge comes with a protective sheath.
