This quality Double Spur Jennings Pattern Auger Bit is the best we carry. Made from high carbon steel in Sheffield, England. The traditional tapered shank is designed specifically for a traditional Hand Brace. The double spurs scribe the hole prior to entry and ensures a splinter free hole. The wide spiral provides for excellent chip clearance. The medium fast lead screw draws the bit uniformly into the hole. Hole size 3/8". Overall length slightly less than 9". Quality made in England.
