In Carving the European Corbel Video, Nora takes you through a classical European corbel. The corbel is very rewarding, allowing you to create a three-dimensional piece while still working within the relief framework, and lends itself to infinite design variations. About Nora Hall
Nora has been carving since her apprenticeship in 1939 under her father, the renowned Dutch Master Woodcarver Johannes Leereveld. Today she divides her time between sharing these secrets and techniques with her students at workshops and schools across the United States, and fulfilling commissions with her son, Wendell.
