When you face a project requiring Forstner bits that are longer than typically available, this extension shank comes in very handy. This top quality drill bit extension shank accepts any 5/16" shank bit. The mating bit is solidly secured by means of four hex screws. The extension shank is 5" long overall and features a 5/16" shank. Although designed for extending the reach of Forstner bits this extension shank may be used to extend the length of any drill bit with a matching shank. Expertly crafted by Famag of Germany. The outer diameter of the extension shank is 5/8".
