Traditional Woodworker was founded by the Edstrom family after years of finding it difficult to find the range of quality traditional-style hand tools we preferred for our own projects. The Edstroms have been working wood for many generations. Our founding partner, Erik Edstrom, trained as a finishing carpenter in the Swedish apprentice system and made carpentry his vocation for years. Erik made his way to sunny Texas permanently over a decade ago and based the company in the Dallas area. Traditional Woodworker stocks broad lines of top-quality, traditional tools.
