This is a very sturdy knife. The 4-5/8" long handle is made from cast aluminum with sanded Walnut inlays. The handle comes with three different blades as follows: The blades are ground from 15 gauge chrome vanadium high carbon steel. They have been uniformly hardened and tempered as well as polished and honed to a fine edge. The blades are held in place by a slotted set screw and can easily be adjusted and changed out. The blades and handle combine to produce a knife kit that is very useful for carving, whittling and general shop use. Made in the USA by R. Murphy Co.
