This Set of 16 BORMAX Forstner Style Bits is probably the most comprehensive set of premium quality Forstner bits you are likely to find anywhere. The BORMAX bits feature a patented design with a circular rim formed by a series of razor sharp cutting teeth set in a wave-form pattern. This patented wave form design produces several key benefits:

Overall bit length is 3 1/2" with a 5/16" shank for bits 1/4" to 1 1/8" and a 3/8" shank for bits 1 1/4" to 2 1/8". Please note that sizes 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" have FAMAG's traditional forstner design. The bits come arranged in a custom fitted wooden box with handle. The bits are precision machined from high carbon steel by FAMAG in Germany.
