Clifton No. 500 Convex Spokeshaves are virtually unbreakable and easy on the hands. The weight and balance permit the spokeshaves to sit firmly on the wood so that only a stroking action is required to make a cut. The Model No. 500 is the counterpart to the Concave Spokeshave (No. 550) and with its convex shape is essential for recessed work. Made of unbreakable spheroidal graphite and malleable iron. The surfaces are finished and polished to give maximum comfort. The firm seating and fine adjustment allow delicate nuances to made in the cut. Length 10". Honing required before use. Crafted in England.
