The Cone Gouge India Stone is a great choice for sharpening both in-cannel and out-cannel gouges. Use one side for sharpening, turn it around and use the other side for chasing the burr. The tapered shape makes this 400 Grit Cone Gouge India Stone suitable for most gouges regardless of width. The Cone Gouge India Stone measures 6 1/4 long with a 2" width and 1" thickness at the base tapering to a 1/2" width and 3/4" thickness at the other end.
