The Cutting Gauge in Rosewood and Brass is the ideal marking tool for scoring cleanly across the grain. Very versatile, you can also cut small rebates and veneer strips. For accurate cuts, the head locks with a knurled brass knob and the 1/4" single bevelled cutter is secured by a brass wedge. For ease of use, the cutter can be removed for periodic sharpening. This gauge also features two solid brass wear plates on the head for added durability. This is a handsome as well as a functional cutting gauge. Measures 8" in length. Crafted in England.
