Draw Knife - 10" Straight Blade British |

This Traditional English Pattern drawknife is crafted in Sheffield, England from hardened and tempered high carbon steel. This is a heavy-duty drawknife where the cutting edge of the blade measures approximately 10" long and 1 3/4" wide. To make for a strong and secure attachment, the tangs extend fully through the Beech handles. This is a great draw knife for those users who prefer full size handles. The Draw knife
In addition to the traditional use of debarking logs, in days by gone, drawknives had many more specialised applications and were used by a variety of trades (Carpenter, Chairmaker, Cooper, Wheelwright, etc.) for shaping operations and for the rapid removal of surplus wood.
