Designed for the home gardener, this super light extension pole saw with a folding style blade will make the job of tree pruning much easier. With a light twist, the sturdy 1” diameter aluminum pole may be locked at the best length for the job at hand.
The blade may be locked in four different angles for ease of cutting when in tight quarters as well as being folded away when not in use for reasons of safety and ease of transport. The 8-1/2” long blade is Teflon coated to provide strong resistance to rust and gumming. The sturdy blade is a full 0.032” thick, produces a 0.044” kerf and has 11 teeth per inch. The tri-edge teeth are impulse hardened for long lasting durability and cut on the pull stroke.
Designed for both green and seasoned wood, the teeth cut fast and produce clean and crisp cuts. The aluminum handle is partially covered with non-slip rubber for a secure grip. The saw has a length of 4.3 feet when fully extended and a length of 2.9 feet when closed. Made in Japan. Although the picture shows two saws, only one saw is included in the stated price.
