These are professional quality Japanese Chisels with laminated blades hand forged from a layer of soft steel and a layer of high carbon Hitachi White Paper Steel (Shiro Gami). This White Steel will allow you to put on an edge that is unrivalled by any other steel. The blade has been hardened and tempered to Rc 65 providing an exceptional ability to hold a razor sharp edge. Red oak handles fitted with hand forged steel striking hoops. Inch sizes are approximate. Blade length 2 1/4". Overall length 9". Made by the Kojama workshop in Miki City, Hyogo Prefect, Japan.
