These are standard quality Japanese Chisels with laminated blades forged from a layer of soft steel and a layer of high carbon steel. The blade has been hardened and tempered to Rc 63 providing a very good ability to take and hold a razor sharp edge. Red oak handles fitted with steel striking hoops. Blade length 2 1/4".
