Log Dog - Hand Forged with Hardened Tips |

This Log Dog features hardened points and has been hand forged in Austria at the Himmelsberger Zeughammerwerk from top quality steel and then expertly hardened and tempered for the best combination and hardness and toughness. It is a series tool having been hand forged from a single piece of 7/8" diameter round stock. There is no weld that easily breaks in this tool. The hardened tips feature a gradual pyramidal taper for easy penetration and secure wedging (click on the picture below to see a close-up of the tip).
