This Machete is a very versatile clearing tool featuring a curved axe-type edge with a sharp tip. This tool will serve you really well in clearing brush and blazing trails. The 1/8" thick blade has been forged from quality steel and hardened and tempered to Rc 51-53. After the forge, the blade has been left in its natural condition without any cover-ups by paint. The handle is crafted in a military style leather grip with a partial steel knuckle guard. The blade is machine sharpened but we recommend final honing for optimal performance. Overall length about 17". Blade length 12". An optional Leather Sheath is available separately.
