This Mora Traditional Hunting Knife comes with an absolutely razor sharp 4-1/4" long, 15/16" wide and 7/64" thick blade. It is made by the famous knife maker, Mora of Sweden, established in 1891. It is a great choice for a high quality hunting knife. The wide Laminated Steel grade blade is unique to Mora of Sweden. The core of the blade is of high carbon steel surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. As a result of this lamination, a very high edge hardness (Rc 61-62) can be achieved for superior edge retention while at the same time having a blade that is very tough. Also, for additional strength and robustness, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. Overall length is about 8-1/2". Rosewood handle with brass fittings.
