The proverbial workhorse of the shop, the adjustable Spokeshave No. 51A with an upgraded High Speed Steel Blade. The No. 51A Adjustable Spokeshave (Flat Face) With HSS Blade with an upgraded HSS blade works exceptionally well on hard wood, plastics and bonded materials. Two adjustable screws make it easy to set your depth of cut and a flat bottom makes shaping straight or convex surfaces a snap. Total length is 10" with a blade width of 2 1/16". The upgraded High Speed Steel blade is made to 65 Rockwell "C" hardness and the grinding angle is set at exactly 40 degrees. Although not required, final honing to suit individual preferences is recommended before use. Crafted in Germany by KUNZ.
