The replacement blade for the No. 53 Spokeshave With Adjustable Mouth. Blade width is 2 1/16". Made from high carbon steel and hardened to 60 Rockwell C, the blade has been machine sharpened with a bevel angle of 25 to 28 degrees. Crafted in Germany by KUNZ.

KUNZ is a family owned company originally founded by Gustav Kunz in 1910. The company is one of the few remaining German toolmakers specializing in traditional woodworking tools such as hand planes and spokeshaves.
