This 4-1/4" Mora Knife comes absolutely razor sharp and ready for use. It is made by the famous knife maker, Mora of Sweden, established in 1891. It is a great choice for a no-nonsense outdoor knife. The Laminated Steel grade blade is unique to Mora of Sweden. The core of the blade is of high carbon steel surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. As a result of this lamination, a very high edge hardness (Rc 61-62) can be achieved for superior edge retention while at the same time having a blade that is very tough. Also, for additional strength and robustness, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. Overall length is about 8". Oiled Birchwood handle. Comes with a molded sheath made from natural fibers and embossed with a traditional Mora pattern. Made in Sweden.
