Proxxon Reciprocating Power Carver - New Model |

PROXXON just introduced a new and improved Reciprocating Power Carver. This new model features a special, balanced, low noise DC motor with an extremely long life expectancy. The gear head is made of die-cast aluminum. The main housing is made of fiberglass reinforced Polyamide. This new model also comes with a high-grade storage case.
This tool takes the work out of your carving projects and can be used by carvers of all ages and experience. Suitable for small - medium carving projects of all wood types. The rapid cutting action of the tool (10,000 cuts per minute) allows for fine detail work and light / medium roughing out work. The tool is quiet, yet quite powerful. The ergonomic design and light weight (only 1.5 lb) allow for one-handed control.
The tool is very safe as the reciprocating action does not start until the gouge is pressed to the wood. Comes in a high grade storage case and includes 3 razor sharp laminated steel blades (one 3/8" chisel, one 3/8" #3 gouge and one 1/4" 90 degree v-tool). 115 Volt. 50W. Overall length without blade is 9". Accepts all Flexcut RG Series power carving gouges without the need for any adapters.
