Once you have sharpened the teeth it is time for setting the kerf. This Saw Set by KUNZ can set the teeth on hand saw blades up to 1/16" thick. The extent of set is easily calibrated by means of adjusting the small stainless screw on the handle. The depth is also easily calibrated by sliding the depth adjuster rod and locking the large stainless steel knob. Overall length 8". Best for saws with a tpi between 5 and 14. Made in Germany. KUNZ is a family owned company originally founded by Gustav Kunz in 1910. The company is one of the few remaining German toolmakers specializing in traditional woodworking tools such as hand planes, spokeshaves and other specialty woodworking tools.
