These Sloyd Knives come absolutely razor sharp and ready for use. They are made by the famous knife maker, Mora of Sweden, established in 1891. They are great knives for whittling and carving as well as for general shop and outdoor use. The Laminated Steel grade blades are unique to Mora of Sweden. The core of the blades is of high carbon steel surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. As a result of this lamination, a very high edge hardness (Rc 61-62) can be achieved for superior edge retention while at the same time having a blade that is very tough. Also, for additional strength and robustness, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. Overall length is about 6-1/2" - 7-1/2". Oiled Birchwood handles. Each knife comes with a plastic sheath with a belt loop. Made in Sweden.
