These quality Single Spur Auger Bits are machined from high carbon steel in Sweden. The unique shank design makes these auger bits well suited for both a traditional Hand Brace as well as a power drill. When using a hand brace, the conical shape of the shank tip slides into the square hole at the bottom of the chuck thereby ensuring that the bit will never slip. When using a power drill the textured surface of the shank ensures a non-slip performance. The single spur scribes the hole prior to entry and ensures a splinter free hole. The solid center of the bit provides for rigidity. Overall length 15 3/4". Shank size 3/8". Made in Sweden. The Set includes the following:
