Set of 4 Parallel Spoon Bits by Clifton |
This Set of Parallel Spoon Bits by Clifton includes: The Parallel Spoon Bit is primarily used for boring holes, either vertically or at an angle, to take the back "spokes" of windsor chairs. Accordingly, holes may be bored in the seat, the curved back or the "stringers" and arms. The bits are hand forged from carbon steel, carefully heat treated and then hand ground to a fine edge. The bits may be honed by using a slip stone on the inside of the cutting edge - never touch the outside edge. Overall length 4 1/2". Crafted in England by Clifton.
