These quality Double Spur Jennings Pattern Auger Bits are the best we carry. Made from high carbon steel in Sheffield, England. The traditional tapered shank is designed specifically for a traditional Hand Brace. The double spurs scribe the hole prior to entry and ensures a splinter free hole. The wide spiral provides for excellent chip clearance. The medium fast lead screw draws the bit uniformly into the hole. Hole size 1/4" - 1". Overall length 8 3/4" - 9 1/4". Quality made in England.
