These professional quality Diamic Brand tools have been made from premium M2 High Speed Steel. The tools are full-size and will allow for a variety of spindle and bowl type projects. An excellent and comprehensive professional starter set. The set includes:

Diamic Wood Turning Tools by Henry Taylor
The Diamic line of M2 High Speed Steel ("HSS") wood turning tools are expertly crafted by Henry Taylor Tools Ltd. in Sheffield, England. Having been the first company to make turning tools from HSS back in 1978, Henry Taylor has developed a great expertise in selecting the optimum alloys for their tools. Arguably, the heat and abrasion resisting properties of their line of M2 HSS is unrivalled by other manufacturers.
Although slightly more expensive, M2 HSS will retain a sharp edge some six times longer than regular carbon steel. Also, when regrinding this tool, it will keep its hardness even if an accidental bluing were to take place.
The Beech handles have been stained and lacquered and feature a brass ferrule.
