This set is just the ticket for sharpening the small or pointed tools that you've had problems with in the past. Unlike the traditional DMT stones with recessed dots, these have a continuous diamond sharpening surface that allows you to quickly put a razor edge on even the most pointed tools.
This set is ideal for all sharpening challenges: A Coarse Stone at 325 Mesh for rapidly restoring a sharp edge on dull tools. A Fine Stone at 600 mesh to hone regularly maintained tools and an Extra Fine Stone at 1200 mesh to get a razor sharp edge on your finest tools. These stones feature a durable diamond surface providing fast and efficient sharpening of all hard materials including any steel, carbide and titanium. Since diamonds are the hardest substance known, this surface cuts quickly, cleanly and easily.
Best of all, these diamond sharpeners never hollow or groove assuring a precision flat stone after years of use. The continuous diamond surface is bonded to a steel body for durability.
