These saws are well made, feature alloy steel blades (Rc 52) and offer a good alternative for anybody unwilling to spend the money required for our hand made Hishiki saws. These Dozuki Saws will allow you to cut tight fitting joints with high precision. The fine teeth will leave a smooth surface finish when cutting hardwoods. These are professional grade Dozuki Saws for cutting any type of fine joinery and are suitable for both soft and hard woods. These Dozuki Saws have the following key specifications:
- 9-1/2" Length of Blade
- 23-1/2" Overall Length
- 19 Teeth Per Inch for the Rip Saw and 25 teeth Per Inch for the Cross Cut Saw
- 0.011" Blade Thickness
- 0.015" Kerf
- 2-1/8" Depth of Cut by the tip tapering to 1-5/8" by the handle.
Rattan wrapped wooden handles with green marking for the Rip Saw and black marking for the Cross Cut Saw. Slightly curved steel backs for extra rigidity. Made in Japan.
