Small Honing Strop by Wood is Good |

This honing strop is unique because of the special rubber-like material used on the strop. This material eliminates the inconsistencies of leather and will greatly outlast leather strops. The strop surface measures 6 13/4" x 1 5/16" x 1/4" and can be renewed periodically with a little detergent and water. The strop is bound to a wooden handle and has a round edge for honing the inside of gouges and a 45 degree edge for the inside of V tools. Use with our Aluminum Oxide powder or with our natural diamond powder in your choice of Mesh. For the ultimate polish and finish, use a progression of diamond grit. For example, start with a strop charged with a 3000 Mesh Diamond Powder, progress to a strop charged with a 8000 Mesh Diamond Powder and conclude with a strop charged with a 14000 Mesh Diamond Powder.
