E.C. Emmerich wooden planes are steeped in the Continental European woodworking tradition. These wooden planes work wood in the time honored way that no machine can approach. The E.C.E. Stop Rabbet (Chisel) Plane is of classic Continental European design and is a plane designed for cleaning up those last few inches when making a stop rabbet or any other area or corner that you cannot reach with other planes.
This plane features a hornbeam body and sole. The iron is 1 3/16" wide and 0.1" thick. The iron is bedded at a 45 degree angle and has been hardened and tempered to Rc 61.
Over length and width of the plane body is 7" and 1 1/4", respectively. Expertly crafted in Germany by E.C. Emmerich.
