Every knife from Mora of Sweden is a product of knowledge about manufacturing cutting tools collected over more than 100 years - we have been doing this since 1891 when the original knife factory was established in Mora, Sweden. On the industrial scale, we have been meeting customer demands for efficient and ergonomically designed products for more than a century. The Laminated Steel grade is unique to knives from Mora of Sweden. The core of the blade is of high carbon steel surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. A high hardness (RC 61) can be achieved through hardening, resulting in a knife blade with superior toughness, cutting edge retention and thereby maximum sharpness and long life.
