Premium Hickory handle 28” long. The fully polished blade, with a 5 1/2" face has been forged from top quality German steel. This axe also incorporates two important safety features:1. A steel sleeve to protect the handle from damage should you miss the target. 2. A patented joint system (tapered collar, safety plate and screw) to provide an absolutely safe and secure attachment of the head to the handle.
