These very nicely made Dead Blow Hammers feature special filling inserts in the hammer heads to eliminate any recoil. The replaceable heads are made from splinter proof, shatter proof and wear resistant polyamide which also prevent any marring to the work piece. Hickory handles for strength and durability. The heads are powder coated with silver enamel. Replacement handles and heads are available. Head diameter 1". Head length 4". Overall length 12". You can probably find cheaper ones elsewhere (i.e., made in China) but we doubt they will match the quality of these ones. Made in Germany.
