This German made Yankee Screwdriver is patterned on the traditional Yankee models but with one important improvement - a quality hex chuck that accepts standard 1/4" hex screwdriver bits, double or single ended. This is important as it gives you the ability to use any standard screwdriver bit available on the market. Note: You do not need to add the Hex Adapter Chuck which we offer separately as this screwdriver already includes the hex chuck.
A simple push on the handle generates a forward or a reverse driving motion. In accordance with the traditional Yankee Screwdriver Model, the 3-position selector allows for: 1. Locked position for high-torque manual driving, 2. Forward position for driving the screw or drill bit, and 3. Reverse position for backing out the screw or drill bit.
This large model is a full 18" long when extended and 12 1/2" when compressed. The 5" long stroke produces 2 1/2 revolutions. Featuring a quality polished steel construction with a hardwood handle this tool is certain not to disappoint you.
