For purposes of small to medium size shaping and peeling tasks this is one of the best Draw Knives that we carry. It has been hand forged in Austria at the Himmelsberger Zeughammerwerk from top quality steel and then expertly hardened and tempered for the best combination and hardness and toughness. The blade curves ever so slightly over its total length. The blade is sharp and measures approximately 9-1/2" long, and 1-1/8" wide.  To make for a strong and secure attachment, the tangs extend fully through the hardwood handles and are secured by a nut at the end. This is a really well made draw knife. Overall length 18". Comes with a leather edge guard.
